The Rundown 4K Blu-ray Arrives August 26 from Kino Lorber

The Rundown (2003), directed by Peter Berg and starring Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Rosario Dawson, Christopher Walken, and Ewen Bremner, arrives on 4K Blu-ray from Kino Lorber on August 26. The film features Johnson as Beck, a bounty hunter sent into the Amazon to retrieve a fugitive played by Scott. The duo ends up teaming to chase a treasure in this action-packed adventure.

This release includes a new 4K master scanned from the original camera negative, presented in Dolby Vision HDR. The audio options feature 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 mixes, along with optional English subtitles for accessibility. Multiple audio commentaries add depth, with contributions from action film critic Mike Leeder and filmmaker Matt Routledge; director Peter Berg alongside Dwayne Johnson; and producers Kevin Misher and Marc Abraham.

The 4K Blu-ray also contains a standard Blu-ray disc with a robust package of special features. These include six featurettes covering aspects such as the making of the film and individual cast insights, as well as deleted scenes and the newly mastered theatrical trailer in 2K.
