Umbrella Entertainment October 2025 Releases Include Angst 4K Blu-ray Combo and New Extremity Collection Vol. 2

Umbrella Entertainment has announced its October 2025 slate featuring five titles across 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and collector editions. The lineup includes The Resurrection of the Golden Wolf (1979), Angst (1983), The Reef (2010), The ABCs of Death (2012), and the New Extremity Collection Volume 2 (1997-2003).

The Resurrection of the Golden Wolf presents a rare Japanese crime thriller from a new 4K restoration. Starring Sonny Chiba and Yôsaku Matsuda, it follows a corporate salaryman leading a violent double life aiming to dominate his workplace. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles.

Angst comes as a 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray combo pack featuring a new director-approved 4K restoration and Dolby Vision HDR. This acclaimed Austrian serial killer thriller includes two new audio commentaries, interviews with cast and crew, several new featurettes, and archival materials. The film is presented in German with English subtitles.

The Reef offers Australian sharksploitation horror directed by Andrew Traucki (Black Water). Shot with real sharks for authenticity, it follows survivors of a yacht capsizing who must navigate shark-infested waters. The release features new audio commentary, multiple cast interviews, and behind-the-scenes content, with optional English subtitles.

The ABCs of Death anthology showcases 26 short horror films from prominent genre directors including Adam Wingard, Ti West, Nacho Vigalondo, and more. The release includes new interviews, archival director commentaries, extensive featurettes, and deleted scenes with optional English subtitles.

Lastly, the New Extremity Collection Volume 2 Collector’s Edition is an exclusive box set available via Umbrella’s webstore. It compiles Dobermann, Fat Girl, In My Skin, and Twentynine Palms - intense, boundary-pushing films from the late 1990s to early 2000s. This edition includes all films uncut and uncensored with a 100-page essay book, exclusive artwork, artcards, posters, and extensive new video extras.
