Umbrella Entertainment releases The ABCs of Death Blu-ray with extensive new extras and limited edition packaging.
Umbrella Entertainment announces the Blu-ray Collector's Edition release of The ABCs of Death scheduled for October 8, 2025. This edition features the full 2012 anthology showcasing 26 horror shorts from filmmakers such as Jason Eisener, Xavier Gens, Andrew Traucki, Nacho Vigalondo, Adam Wingard, and Ti West among others.
The anthology spans a range of approaches to horror, from provocative and shocking to humorous and confrontational, representing a snapshot of emerging talents at the time. This release is a Blu-ray format presentation including English subtitles.
The Collector's Edition, available exclusively from the Umbrella webstore, includes a custom rigid case and slipcase with artwork by Caspar Williams, a numbered limited run, a 48-page booklet of behind-the-scenes content with new essays by David Michael Brown, Jim Morton, and Gavin Baddeley, and a unique 26-page coloring book illustrated by Casper Williams.
Extensive new special features accompany this release, including an audio commentary with writers Graham Duff and Stephen Thrower, interviews with producers Ant Timpson and Tim League, and an in-depth featurette titled "Gaseous Strains of Love" exploring bizarro horror in Noburo Iguchi’s segment "F is for Fart."
Archival audio commentaries with anthology directors complement the edition.
