'Girls Without Shame' debuts on 4K Blu-ray from Indicator

Girls Without Shame a.k.a. Schoolgirl Hitchhikers makes its remarkable return in stunning 4K, released by Indicator/Powerhouse Films. Directed by Jean Rollin under the pseudonym 'Michel Gentil', this immersive 1973 film embarks on a unique erotic journey.
Starring Joëlle Cœur and Gilda Arancio, the film follows Monica and Jackie, two adventurous young women hiking to a deserted mansion. Their intrigue takes a dangerous turn as they encounter a criminal gang that believes them to have stolen their stash. Offering a scintillating combination of Rollin's distinctive imagery and captivating themes, the movie is enhanced by the music of regular collaborator Pierre Raph.
The restored film includes three versions: the original French, and two English-language alternatives, Girls Without Shame and Schoolgirl Hitchhikers. In addition to showcasing the filmmaker’s transition to a new genre, this release treats viewers to Hubert Lacoudre's short film Sexana, with a surreal twist on Alice in Wonderland, featuring contemporary scoring by Peninsula.
