In the expansive and wildlife-rich Pride Lands of Africa, King Mufasa rules over the animal kingdom with wisdom and benevolence. As a leader respected by all creatures, he guides the circle of life and prepares for the future by teaching his young cub, Simba, the responsibilities of royalty and the importance of balance within the natural world. This peaceful existence is cherished by the animals, who honor the king and his family. However, not all are content under Mufasa’s leadership—his brother, Scar, harbors jealousy and a thirst for power, feeling overlooked and desirous of the throne.

Simba’s innocence and curiosity lead him on a journey of self-discovery, accompanied by his loyal friend Nala and mentored by his father.
