Take An Easy Ride (1976), directed by Kenneth F. Rowles, arrives on Blu-ray from British label Screenbound Pictures on September 22. This cult sexploitation film stars Derek Slater, Gennie Nevinson, Ina Skriver, Kenneth F. Rowles, and Margaret Heald.
The film, originally positioned as a cautionary tale about the dangers of hitchhiking for young women, has gained recognition as one of Britain's notable sexploitation titles of the era. The Blu-ray release includes several special features that deepen the insight into the film and its director’s work.
Bonus material features the 30-minute TV pilot Go Girl (1972), an unbroadcast pilot from Rowles’s proposed series, as well as documentaries such as No Easy Rides focusing on Ken Rowles' filmmaking career.
