Rounding Blu-ray Arrives July 29 from Music Box Films

Music Box Films, in partnership with Doppelganger Releasing, schedules the Blu-ray release of Alex Thompson's 2022 film Rounding for July 29. The film stars Namir Smallwood, Alex Wilson, Cheryl Lynn Bruce, Ed Kross, and Michael Potts.

The story follows a young medical resident who, after a traumatic event, moves to a rural hospital seeking a fresh start. However, he becomes increasingly absorbed by the peculiar case of a patient presenting mysterious symptoms, confronting the demons of his past. Director Alex Thompson assembles a strong group of veteran character actors in this humanist and unconventional genre piece.

The Blu-ray edition includes a comprehensive set of special features designed for collectors and enthusiasts: an audio commentary featuring director Alex Thompson and editor Mike Smith; several interviews with key contributors including Thompson, co-writer Christopher Thompson, Namir Smallwood, Sidney Flanigan, and Michael Potts; behind-the-scenes footage; deleted scenes; outtakes; and the theatrical trailer. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing are also provided.
