The Tattooed Dragon arrives on Blu-ray from Eureka Entertainment, featuring a new 2K restoration available July 21 in the UK and July 22 in North America. Directed by Lo Wei, known for his work with Bruce Lee, this martial arts film spotlights Jimmy Wang Yu in a lead role after his transition to Golden Harvest during the early 1970s.
The narrative follows the titular Tattooed Dragon, a virtuous martial artist who defends a rural village against a gangster-led campaign aiming to exploit villagers through gambling. Supporting performances include Sylvia Chang and James Tien, alongside notable cinematography by Cheung Yiu-tsou and stunt coordination from Simon Hsu.
This release presents the film from newly restored elements, offering both the original Mandarin mono audio track and an English dub, complemented by newly translated English subtitles.
