Narc 4K Blu-ray to be Released July 7 from Arrow Video
Arrow Video presents a 4K restoration of Joe Carnahan’s crime thriller Narc with extensive bonus features.
Narc, directed by Joe Carnahan, returns on 4K Blu-ray through Arrow Video, scheduled for release on July 7, 2025. This acclaimed crime thriller brings a modern edge to the gritty police drama genre, set against the stark backdrop of wintry Detroit. The story follows narcotics cop Nick Tellis (Jason Patric) as he partners with Detective Henry Oak (Ray Liotta) to investigate the murder of Oak’s former partner, leading to a tense and personal investigation.
This edition features a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, presented in Dolby Vision/HDR to enhance the film's visual depth. Audio options include newly restored original stereo and immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound. Optional English subtitles are available for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Arrow Video supplements the package with extensive extras across two discs. Disc one offers a high-definition presentation of the film along with archival feature commentary by Joe Carnahan and editor John Gilroy, plus a brand-new introduction from Carnahan himself. Disc two contains an array of newly filmed interviews with key personnel, including Carnahan, director of photography Alex Nepomniaschy, actor Krista Bridges, and costume designer Gersha Phillips.
Additional vintage promotional featurettes explore the film’s making, visual style, and connections to the work of William Friedkin. The extras also include vintage EPK interviews with principal cast and crew, enriching the context around this landmark 21st-century crime film.
The physical release boasts a reversible sleeve featuring original and new artwork by Nathanael Marsh, a double-sided poster, and an illustrated collector’s booklet with essays and archival materials written by Michelle Kisner, producer Diane Nabatoff, and others.
