The Return of Swamp Thing (1989), directed by Jim Wynorski, releases on 4K Blu-ray from Screenbound Pictures on September 29. This sequel to the original cult hit stars Heather Locklear as Abigail Arcane, who confronts her evil stepfather Dr. Anton Arcane, played by Louis Jourdan, in the Florida swamps. Dr. Arcane creates a monstrous army known as Un-Men in his quest against aging, before Abby is rescued by SWAMP THING, portrayed again by Dick Durock.
Executive produced by Benjamin Melniker and Michael E. Uslan of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice fame, the release boasts an all-star cast including Sarah Douglas and Joey Sagal. The disc presents a 4K restoration utilizing the original elements and includes multiple language dub tracks in German, French, and Italian.
