Terminus Rides Again: Blu-ray Release on June 10 by MVD
Pierre-William Glenn's futuristic action classic returns in high-definition with exclusive features.
Terminus is set for a captivating return to Blu-ray, courtesy of the MVD Rewind Collection. Directed by Pierre-William Glenn, this 1987 sci-fi thriller stars Johnny Hallyday, Karen Allen, Jürgen Prochnow, Gabriel Damon, and Julie Glenn, and will be available starting June 10.
In the dystopian year of 2037, a child prodigy named Mati, portrayed by Gabriel Damon, controls a monstrous, artificial intelligence-powered truck dubbed Monster. This relentless vehicle traverses a dangerous cross-country rally, tempting players with a $100 million prize that remains unwon. Mati's malevolent genius is opposed by a group of rebels determined to halt Monster before it reaches its final destination.
The thrilling narrative of Terminus is emboldened by a stellar cast, including Karen Allen of Raiders of the Lost Ark fame and the iconic French rock star Johnny Hallyday. Inspired by the likes of Mad Max, this adventure stands out for its fast-paced, heart-pounding action.
The Blu-ray release offers two versions of the film: the U.S. cut in 1080p HD and the extended 115-minute French version, also in 1080p HD. Fans can look forward to an array of special features, unveiling exclusive insights and retrospectives.
