The To Do List Movie

Set in 1993, the story centers on Brandy Klark, a high-achieving, but socially awkward valedictorian of her high school class. Feeling she's missed out on key teenage experiences, Brandy creates a list of activities she believes are necessary to catch up before going to college. This "to-do list" includes various sexual exploits she's heard of but hasn't experienced. Determined and pragmatic, Brandy approaches her task with the same dedication she applied to her academic achievements, believing this will prepare her for the complexities of college life. With the list in hand, she sets out to check off items one by one, approaching her goals with a mix of trepidation and determination.

As Brandy navigates her way through the list, she enlists the help of her two best friends, the more experienced Wendy and Fiona, who offer advice and commentary on Brandy's pursuits. She also finds an unlikely ally in her older, slacker sister, Amber, who works at a pool where many of Brandy's misadventures take place. The journey isn't just about sexual discovery, but also about understanding the value of genuine connections and the realities of adult relationships. Brandy’s attempts at completing her list lead to awkward, sometimes humiliating situations, but through these experiences, she learns more about herself and what she truly wants, setting the stage for her transition from adolescence into adulthood.
