PlotEdina "Eddy" Monsoon and Patsy Stone are two aging best friends who live a life of opulence in London, relentlessly chasing the high of their youth and the glitz and glam of celebrity culture. Eddy, running a PR agency that's hemorrhaging clients, and Patsy, working as a magazine editor, fear their lifestyles are unsustainable as their funds and relevance seem to dwindle. Desperate to stay in the limelight and regain their financial status, Eddy, with the hapless assistance of her loyal but dim-witted assistant Bubble, navigates the cutthroat world of fashion and celebrity PR with chaotic results.
Their fortunes appear to take a turn when Eddy learns of a high-profile fashion event that's set to feature the glamorous and elusive supermodel Kate Moss. Determined to sign Moss as a client and revive their careers, the duo attends the glitzy soiree, but disaster strikes, leading to a media frenzy that threatens to engulf them. Fleeing the scandal, Eddy and Patsy embark on an escape to the French Riviera, with Eddy's pragmatic daughter, Saffron, and her granddaughter in tow. The South of France becomes their lavish playground as they hatch a plan to secure their luxurious future, all while staying one step ahead of the relentless media and the consequences of their actions.
