Despite his intelligence and his ability to negotiate complex legal matters, he finds himself ill-prepared for the brutal and unforgiving reality of the drug trade. His ambition leads him into a perilous situation, risking not just his career but also his life and those of the people closest to him.
As the Counselor delves deeper into this criminal underworld, he struggles to maintain his ethical boundaries, and his decisions start to spiral out of control. The situation quickly escalates when a multimillion-dollar drug deal he is involved in goes terribly wrong. Confronted with betrayals and the ruthless logic of his new world, he must navigate a maze of violence and deception. The further he gets drawn into this dark and complex reality, the more he stands to lose, pushing him to the edge of both moral and personal abyss.
