Jingle All the Way
Director: Brian Levant
Actors: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sinbad, Phil Hartman
PlotIn a bustling city, workaholic father Howard Langston is desperate to make amends with his young son, Jamie, for frequently missing family events due to his demanding job. Jamie's Christmas wish is to receive the Turbo Man action figure, this year’s hottest toy. Unaware of its high demand and thinking he still has time, Howard promises Jamie that he'll get the toy as a gesture of his commitment. On Christmas Eve, Howard realizes that Turbo Man is sold out everywhere. He joins forces with another desperate father, Myron, a postal worker who is also frantically searching for the same toy for his own child.
As Howard's quest takes increasingly frantic and chaotic turns, he encounters numerous obstacles, including a disenchanted mall Santa and an aggressive, competitive rivalry with Myron. Each new lead turns into a disappointment, and Howard’s single-minded determination to find Turbo Man puts him in a string of ridiculous situations. Meanwhile, Howard's neglect has emboldened his creepy neighbor, Ted, who attempts to woo Howard's wife, Liz, under the guise of being a helpful and attentive friend. Howard's hunt for the toy spirals into a series of mishaps and comedic confrontations, pressing him to reevaluate his priorities just as his family needs him the most. The city becomes a backdrop for his frantic quest, filled with chaotic chases and a heartwarming reminder of what’s truly important during the holiday season.
