PlotIn the bustling city of Berlin, a string of bizarre murders and crimes stirs fear among its residents. The common thread linking these crimes is the luxurious Hotel Luxor, which is fully equipped with cutting-edge surveillance technology. The police are baffled by the sinister events that seem to be orchestrated by a mastermind. As they delve into the case, they encounter reports of a shadowy figure reminiscent of the notorious, long-dead criminal genius, Dr. Mabuse. Amidst this atmosphere of intrigue, an American businessman, Henry Travers, becomes involved when he witnesses a murder connected to the hotel.
The investigation intensifies as an enigmatic clairvoyant named Cornelius is connected to the mysterious happenings in the hotel. Inspector Kras, a dedicated but beleaguered police detective, joins forces with Travers to unravel the complex web of surveillance and psychological manipulation. Marion Menil, a woman entangled in a web of blackmail and fear, also becomes crucial to the unraveling mystery. All must contend with the pervasive sense of paranoia as they confront the possibility that the evil genius of Dr. Mabuse might have somehow returned from the grave to enact his malevolent plans once more.
