PlotIn the bustling world of 1940s radio entertainment, Doug, a talent scout, is on a mission to discover the next big singing sensation after his star singer leaves. His journey takes him to New York, where he meets Martha, a hopeful young singer with ambitions bursting at the seams. Struggling as a single mother, Martha works tirelessly to provide for her son while nurturing her dreams of stardom. Doug is captivated by her voice and spirit, believing she has the potential to become a major star.
