PlotKate, a single mother of three struggling to make ends meet, works two jobs while studying to become a nurse. She crosses paths with Leonardo, a wealthy and entitled playboy, when she is hired to clean his yacht. After Kate confronts him about his disrespectful behavior and refusal to pay her, Leonardo accidentally falls overboard and loses his memory. Seizing the opportunity for some revenge and a much-needed hand around the house, Kate convinces Leonardo that they are married and takes him home.
As Leonardo adjusts to his new life working manual labor and bonding with Kate's children, he gradually learns the value of hard work and family. Kate's ruse becomes increasingly complicated as her friends and neighbors, including her supportive employer Theresa, and her children grow attached to Leonardo. Despite their unlikely beginnings, a genuine connection starts to form. Just as things seem to be looking up, reality comes knocking, threatening to unravel the fabric of their newfound happiness.
