Peter Pan’s Blu-ray 1080p/AVC-encoded transfer shines with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent detail, thanks to meticulous digital restoration. While the near-total removal of grain and subtle tweaks to the original presentation may irk purists, the transfer remains a visual delight that retains the spirit of 1950s animation.

Audio: 82

Disney’s DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track for 'Peter Pan' superbly balances dialogue, sound effects, and music, broadening the soundstage with seamless integration of rear channel atmospherics while retaining the original audio's integrity; however, the lack of a lossless mono option is a missed opportunity.

Extra: 79

Packed with enriching extras such as Diane Disney-Miller's heartfelt introduction, Roy Disney’s comprehensive audio commentary, and the delightful 'Growing up with Nine Old Men' documentary, this edition features HD versions of new and classic content, offering an immersive and nostalgic dive into every facet of 'Peter Pan.'

Movie: 83

Peter Pan's timeless magic, hand-drawn artistry, and beloved adaptation of J.M. Barrie's tale continue to captivate, despite dated racial depictions; the Blu-ray release highlights its vibrant animation and enduring appeal, solidifying its place in Disney's golden age canon.
