Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a solid film that I saw in the movie theater. Both the video and audio quality is top notch with superior contrast and color resolution and a wonderful audio mix that immerses you in the action and environment. The story narration is one that takes place long after the death of Caesar but not so long ago that he and his influences have been forgotten, Humans have fallen down the the comparative ladder of their own evolution and the contraindication of ape and human getting along grows lesser each day. The apes are very lifelike and the animations leave nothing to be desired. All in all, this film is a bit of a mash up of all the previous films and the issues that have arisen. I can't imagine a fan of the series not running to the store or online and not buying this fine film.
