Zombie Flesh Eaters 4K Blu-ray Hits Shelves July 28 from Arrow Video
Arrow Video releases Lucio Fulci's controversial horror classic in a new 4K restoration with extensive special features.
Zombie Flesh Eaters, directed by Lucio Fulci, arrives on 4K Blu-ray from Arrow Video on July 28, 2025. This release presents the film in a new 4K restoration sourced from the original 2-perf Techniscope negative with Dolby Vision HDR presentation.
The disc offers the original English and Italian front and end titles alongside restored lossless English and Italian mono audio tracks. Additionally, fans can select optional remixed English Dolby Atmos and Italian DTS-HD MA 7.1 audio mixes. Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing are provided for both English and Italian soundtracks.
Included are multiple audio commentaries, featuring critics Eugenio Ercolani, Troy Howarth, Nathaniel Thompson, screenwriter Elisa Briganti, Fulci biographer Stephen Thrower, and horror expert Alan Jones. New visual essays by Alexandra Heller-Nicholas and Chris Alexander explore the film's impact and legacy.
The package contains archival materials such as an introduction by actor Ian McCulloch, a documentary on the history of Italian zombie films, archival interviews with cast and special effects artists, and behind-the-scenes featurettes including a rare look at the screenplay.
Additional extras include the original Nightmare Island screenplay, theatrical trailers, TV spots, Easter eggs, and six double-sided collector's postcards. The physical edition features a reversible sleeve with artwork by Colin Murdoch, a perfect bound collector's booklet with new writings by Willow Maclay, Jack Sargeant, Heather Wixson, and Matt Rogerson, plus a double-sided fold-out poster.
