Undisputed 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Arrive August 26 from Kino Lorber
Walter Hill's 2002 action thriller starring Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames releases with new 4K restoration and extras
Undisputed (2002), directed by Walter Hill and featuring Wesley Snipes, Ving Rhames, Peter Falk, Michael Rooker, and Jon Seda, comes to 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray on August 26 via Kino Lorber.
The film centers on a high-stakes prison showdown between the world heavyweight champion (Rhames) and the penitentiary’s undefeated champ (Snipes), with a former mob boss (Falk) orchestrating events to ensure the fight. The cast also includes Wes Studi, Fisher Stevens, and Master P.
Both discs present a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative. The 4K Blu-ray includes a new audio commentary by action film historian Mike Leeder and filmmaker Matt Routledge, available in 5.1 surround sound and lossless 2.0 stereo, plus optional English subtitles.
The Blu-ray disc features the same 4K restoration and commentary alongside several newly produced extras: an interview with director Walter Hill titled Personal Combat, conversations with Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames, and the theatrical trailer. Audio options match those of the 4K disc, including 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 audio.
