Tunnel Vision Collector's Edition Blu-ray: MVD Rewind Collection

Tunnel Vision, directed by Neal Israel and Brad Swirnoff, is getting a special treatment from the MVD Rewind Collection with a Collector's Edition Blu-ray set to be released on May 13. Starring a brilliant ensemble cast including Phil Proctor, Howard Hesseman, Beans Morocco, Ron Silver, and Roberta Kent, this 1976 classic presents a satirical forecast on the unfiltered broadcasting landscape of 1985.

In Tunnel Vision, the titular fictional television channel faces government scrutiny amidst its unregulated and uncensored content. Led by an inquisitive senator, the investigation offers a comedic and biting critique reminiscent of the era’s media, drawing comparisons with cult favorites like Kentucky Fried Movie and Amazon Women on the Moon. Other notable appearances include performances by Chevy Chase, John Candy, Al Franken, and Laraine Newman, to name but a few.

The film has undergone a stunning 4K restoration from its original camera negative, available in two aspect ratios: 1.66:1 and 1.33:1.
