The Woman in the Yard Blu-ray Release Arrives May 27

The Woman in the Yard (2024), directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, arrives on Blu-ray from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment on May 27. This thriller stars Danielle Deadwyler, Okwui Okpokwasili, Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson, and Estella Kahiha.

The film follows Ramona, who, while grieving her husband’s death, encounters an otherworldly woman cloaked in black outside her farmhouse. This mysterious figure cloaks the family in an intensifying nightmare as Ramona struggles to protect her children from an ominous presence with unknown intentions.

Produced by Blumhouse, known for titles like The Invisible Man and The Black Phone, the movie is penned by writer Sam Stefanak and directed by Collet-Serra, whose previous works include The Shallows and Carry On.

The Blu-ray release offers special features designed to explore the film’s haunting narrative and character designs. These include a behind-the-scenes featurette titled Making The Woman in the Yard, which delves into the filmmaking process and cast contributions.
