The House with Laughing Windows (1976), directed by Pupi Avati and starring Lino Capolicchio, Francesca Marciano and Gianni Cavina, is coming to 4K Ultra HD as a Limited Edition from Arrow Video. The film follows an art restorer who travels to an isolated Italian village to repair a disturbing wall painting, but ends up discovering a whole host of secrets along with a string of murders tied to the original artist’s obsession with death.
The film is presented in HDR with a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, graded by Arrow Films. The audio is the restored original Italian mono soundtrack with newly translated English subtitles alongside.
