Subway 40th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray Arrives June 23
StudioCanal brings Luc Besson's stylish urban odyssey, Subway, to 4K Blu-ray in a new SteelBook Edition.
Subway, Luc Besson's innovative take on Paris’s underground, celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special 4K Blu-ray SteelBook Edition, courtesy of StudioCanal. The release is slated for June 23.
The Luc Besson thriller follows Fred (played by Christopher Lambert), who hides in the labyrinthine world of the Paris Métro after stealing sensitive documents. As Fred entangles with Isabelle Adjani's Hélèna, the mob and police close in, making for a narrative as twisting and dense as the tunnels themselves.
This edition boasts a new 4K restoration with Dolby Vision/HDR presentation. Included are insightful features such as 'The Making of Subway' and interviews with key contributors like star Jean-Hugues Anglade, editor Sophie Schmit, and others pivotal to the film's creation.
