St. Elmo's Fire 40th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray Arrives June 24

St. Elmo's Fire, directed by Joel Schumacher, celebrates its 40th anniversary with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment arriving June 24, 2025. The release features a 4K scan from the original camera negative presented in Dolby Vision HDR, accompanied by audio options including English Dolby Atmos, English 5.1 DTS-HD MA, and English 2-channel DTS-HD MA.

The film follows seven recent college graduates as they navigate the challenges of career and commitment. Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson portray Leslie and Alec, trying to salvage their strained relationship. Mare Winningham's Wendy is a reserved character harboring feelings for Rob Lowe's Billy, a man juggling family responsibilities and personal goals. Andrew McCarthy plays Kevin, a disillusioned writer who discovers unexpected love, while Emilio Estevez's Kirbo pursues an older woman with determination. Demi Moore's Jules offers a portrayal of life in the fast lane. Their stories intertwine at their local hangout, St. Elmo’s bar.
