SS Experiment Love Camp (Lager SSadis Kastrat Kommandantur), directed by Sergio Garrone, releases on 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray from 88 Films on October 14 in the U.S, with the UK release following on October 27. This 1976 Nazisploitation film is set in a brutal WWII camp where prisoners of war endure horrific medical and sexual experiments by Colonel von Kleiben, a sadistic Nazi officer in search of the perfect Aryan race.
The film gained notoriety for its provocative content and controversial advertising campaigns, including a now-iconic poster featuring a naked woman crucified, making it one of the most infamous titles within the exploitation subgenre. It was banned in several countries, notably the UK, where it was classified among the so-called "video nasties". The film is recognized for exposing fascist horrors alongside a grimly satirical tone reminiscent of the postwar Italian cinema approach to Third Reich exploitation.
