Roaring to 4K: Mufasa: The Lion King on April 1st

Disney is set to release Mufasa: The Lion King on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray, curated under the visionary direction of Barry Jenkins, and featuring an illustrious voice cast including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Seth Rogen, and Billy Eichner. The launch is slated for April 1, 2024.

This cinematic prequel embarks on a journey to showcase the untold rise of Mufasa, delving into his early companionship with Taka and their shared quest across the Pride Lands. Narrated through a series of flashbacks, directed by Jenkins, the narrative also enlists Rafiki as a storyteller to Kiara, with whom Timon and Pumbaa add their renowned comedic charm.
