Narc 4K Blu-ray Set to Hit Shelves July 7 from Arrow Video
Arrow Video releases Narc on 4K Blu-ray with new restoration, Dolby Atmos, and extensive bonus features.
Narc, the gritty cop drama directed by Joe Carnahan, arrives on 4K Blu-ray from Arrow Video on July 7. This release features a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, paired with Dolby Vision HDR to enhance the film's sharp and intense visual tone.
The disc includes both the newly restored original stereo audio and a remixed Dolby Atmos surround soundtrack, providing an immersive sound experience. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing are available. The package offers a reversible sleeve and a double-sided poster with original and newly commissioned artwork by Nathanael Marsh.
In addition to the feature presentation, the 2-disc set contains a wealth of bonus materials. Disc one offers archival commentary featuring director Joe Carnahan and editor John Gilroy, alongside a brand new introduction from Carnahan himself.
Disc two delivers extensive extras including newly filmed interviews: "Shattering the Blue Line" with Joe Carnahan, "Shooting Narc" with director of photography Alex Nepomniaschy, "If You Live Another Day" with actor Krista Bridges, and "The Journey of the Costume" featuring costume designer Gersha Phillips. It also includes several vintage promotional featurettes exploring the making of the film and its stylistic influences, such as "Making the Deal" and "The Visual Trip." Additional material covers connections to William Friedkin’s work, presented in "The Friedkin Connection," and various interviews with cast and crew from the original EPK.
