Lake Mungo (2008), directed by Joel Anderson and starring Talia Zucker, Rosie Traynor, and David Pledger, arrives in a world-first 4K & Blu-ray Collector’s Edition from Umbrella Entertainment. Styled as a documentary, this haunting Australian classic follows the Palmer family after the sudden drowning of their teenage daughter Alice. Unsettling home videos, psychic investigations, and the ominous presence of Lake Mungo expose hidden layers of her life. Anderson’s only feature is a mournful, dreamlike, and devastating story and has become a modern cult favorite and a touchstone of the found-footage genre.
This exclusive Collector’s Edition features a brand new 4K restoration presented in Dolby Vision with English 5.1/2.0 audio options and English subtitles, spread across a three-disc 4K UHD and Blu-ray set.
