Kingdom of Heaven 4K Blu-ray Drops May 27 - Director's Cut and Roadshow Cut

20th Century Studios marks the 20th anniversary of Ridley Scott's epic, Kingdom of Heaven, with a newly restored and remastered 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray SteelBook Edition. The release arrives on May 27, capturing the grandeur of this historical masterpiece in stunning high-definition with Dolby Vision and Atmos audio tracks.

Originally debuting on May 6, 2005, Kingdom of Heaven remains one of Scott's most ambitious projects. It tells the tale of Orlando Bloom's Balian, set against the backdrop of medieval Jerusalem during the Crusades. Cast as a knight, Balian embarks on a hero’s journey, battling overwhelming forces to save his people. This anniversary release promises an enhanced viewing experience, inviting both die-hard fans and new audiences to appreciate this historical narrative afresh.

As part of the celebrations, 20th Century Studios will hold a special one-night-only theatrical re-release in 4K on May 14. Additionally, fans can attend an advanced screening at The Egyptian Theatre, courtesy of Beyond Fest on May 2.

The special three-disc set honors the film's iconic weaponry and design. It includes an array of behind-the-scenes footage, visual effects explorations, premiere event reflections, deleted scenes, and featurettes providing insight into Ridley Scott's creative process.
