Universal Pictures Home Entertainment releases Jaws 50th Anniversary Edition with new documentary and over five hours of bonus content

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment commemorates the film's 50th anniversary with a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital release scheduled for June 17, 2025. The release also includes a limited edition SteelBook featuring exclusive artwork.
This anniversary edition presents over five hours of bonus features, including a never-before-seen documentary, JAWS @ 50: THE DEFINITIVE INSIDE STORY, directed by Laurent Bouzereau and produced in collaboration with National Geographic, Amblin Documentaries, Nedland Media, and Wendy Benchley. The film is noted for its score by John Williams, which heightens the tension throughout the film.
Additional bonus features cover deleted scenes, outtakes, archival footage, and an exploration of the film’s restoration process. Included documentaries analyze the film's cultural legacy and influence on later filmmakers. The release also offers access to JAWS archives such as storyboards, production photos, marketing materials, and trailers.
