Hitch-Hike (Autostop rosso sangue), directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile, arrives on a limited edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray from Indicator/Powerhouse Films October 20. This 4K UHD edition marks the world premiere of the film in this format, limited to 5,000 individually numbered units – comprising 4,000 on 4K UHD and 1,000 on Blu-ray.
The film stars Franco Nero as Walter, who ventures on a road trip across California with his wife, Eve (Corinne Cléry), aiming to save their faltering marriage. They end up picking up a hitchhiker who is an escaped thief and their journey takes a dark turn into nightmare of crime and exploitation.

Additional materials feature an audio commentary by Italian genre experts Eugenio Ercolani and Marcus Stiglegger, a new interview with first assistant director Neri Parenti (2025), and an updated documentary titled Road to Ruin by filmmaker Federico Caddeo (2025), which details the production, release, and reception of the film.
Further supplements include an in-depth documentary by Ercolani exploring Italian rape and revenge films, a comprehensive profile of director Festa Campanile, original trailers, and a gallery of promotional materials.
