Her Vengeance Deluxe Blu-ray Arrives July 28 from 88 Films

Her Vengeance, directed by Lam Nai-choi and starring Pauline Wong and Lam Ching-ying, arrives on Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray from 88 Films on July 28, 2025. Famous as one of Hong Kong's earliest and most notorious Adults Only Category III films, it follows a young woman’s brutal quest for revenge involving extreme violence and retribution.

This release presents both the complete uncut Category III version and the more widely known Category IIb cut, restored in brand-new 2K digital format. The film is presented in its original Cantonese mono audio with remastered English subtitles and preserves its original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1.

The Deluxe Edition includes a rigid slipcase with artwork by Chris Barnes, a collectible postcard, and a 40-page perfect bound book featuring new essays by Fraser Elliott, Matthew Edwards, and C.J. Lines. Additional supplements highlight the film's impact and production.

Special features on the Blu-ray comprise an audio commentary by East Asian film expert Frank Djeng, the original theatrical trailer, and a stills gallery. A reversible sleeve showcases original Hong Kong poster art.
