Hell of a Summer Blu-ray Arrives July 8

Hell of a Summer, directed by Billy Bryk and Finn Wolfhard, arrives on Blu-ray from Decal Releasing in association with Neon on July 8, 2025. The film stars Fred Hechinger, Finn Wolfhard, Abby Quinn, Billy Bryk, and Matthew Finlan.

The movie combines classic horror suspense with coming-of-age comedy in a unique take on the summer camp horror genre. Following Jason Hotchberg (Hechinger), a 24-year-old camp counselor feeling disconnected from his younger colleagues, the plot thickens when a masked killer begins targeting the camp counselors one by one.

The cast features a lineup of emerging talent including Fred Hechinger (Gladiator 2, Nickel Boys), Abby Quinn (Knock at the Cabin, Landline), D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai (Warfare, Reservation Dogs), and Pardis Saremi (Death and Other Details), alongside co-directors Wolfhard and Bryk.

Special features on the Blu-ray include an audio commentary with directors and lead actors, a blooper reel, a fireside chat, the original trailer, and additional content that enhances the release.
