Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone (2007) directed by Hideaki Anno arrives on Blu-ray from Shout Factory, October 14, 2025. This release will have the original Japanese Dolby TrueHD 6.1 audio along with English Dolby TrueHD 5.1. Presenting the first film in the REBUILD OF EVANGELION project, a re-imagination of the original series with new animation and narrative updates.
Scarred by the Second Impact, the Fourth Angel attacks Tokyo III and NERV must respond. Young pilot Shinji Ikari is forced to pilot EVA-01 alongside Rei Ayanami in EVA-00; during the battle EVA-01 is damaged and Misato Katsuragi implements a plan to channel Japan's electricity into EVA-01's positron cannon to defeat the Angel. The release follows the film's plot and themes while retaining the Rebuild continuity.
