Dan Da Dan: Season One, the biggest anime hit of 2024, is set to make its Blu-ray debut on June 10, distributed by Gkids in association with Shout! Studios. Fans can expect a comprehensive collection available as a standard edition and an enhanced Collector’s Edition. Both editions come in 2-disc Blu-ray™ sets.

The series follows Momo, a spirited high school girl from a lineage of spirit mediums, and Okarun, her classmate who is deeply entrenched in the occult. After Momo intervenes to save Okarun from bullying, the duo delves into a debate over the existence of ghosts and aliens. Each visits infamous sites — an abandoned hospital linked to UFO sightings and a haunted tunnel — where they confront inexplicable paranormal forces. In these supernatural trials, Momo taps into her latent abilities while Okarun gains a cursed power, setting the stage for both conflict and potential romance.

Directed by Fuga Yamashiro and scored by renowned composer kensuke ushio (notable for Chainsaw Man), Dan Da Dan marries elements of sci-fi, horror, and teen rom-coms. The series originates from Yukinobu Tatsu's popular manga and showcases the innovative animation of Science SARU.
