Kino Lorber releases 4K and Blu-ray editions of Quentin Tarantino-presented Curdled with new master and extensive bonus features
Curdled (1996), presented by Quentin Tarantino, arrives on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray July 29 via Kino Lorber. The film stars Angela Jones, William Baldwin, Bruce Ramsay, Lois Chiles, and Barry Corbin. It is a comedic thriller centered on a seductive mass murderer and a young woman assigned to clean his crime scenes, who shares his fascination with murder.
The 4K release includes a new 4K master from the original camera negative, presented in Dolby Vision HDR. Audio options include new commentary tracks from actress Angela Jones, director and co-writer Reb Braddock, co-writer John Maass, and film historian Dwayne Epstein. A 2004 commentary with Braddock and Maass is also included. The audio supports 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 mixes with optional English subtitles.
The companion Blu-ray features the same new 4K master along with all new commentary tracks, plus an interview with Angela Jones, introductions by executive producer Quentin Tarantino, behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, rehearsals, original short films, television playback pieces, and the theatrical trailer.
This release aims to provide both a fully restored presentation of Curdled and comprehensive supplemental content that explores the film's production and legacy.
