Boomerang (Comme un boomerang) directed by José Giovanni arrives on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber on October 14. The film—co‑written by Alain Delon and José Giovanni and scored by Georges Delerue will be presented on Blu-ray with a 4K restoration from 2021 in French with the original track and optional English subtitles.
While under the influence of drugs, 17-year-old Eddy Batkin (Didier Haudepin) accidentally kills a police officer. His father, Jacques Batkin (Alain Delon) — once a gangster, now a businessman — fights to defend him, hiring a top lawyer and seeking the sympathy of the officer’s widow, Muriel (Monica Guerritore). But when the press exposes Jacques’s criminal past, public opinion quickly turns against him.
