Bohachi Bushido: Code of the Forgotten Eight (1973), directed by Teruo Ishii, arrives on Blu-ray from Mondo Macabro on July 8. This release presents a brand new exclusive 4K restoration of the film, marking its world HD disc debut.
The film stars Tetsurô Tanba as Shiro, a master swordsman disillusioned with samurai honor who becomes entangled with the nihilistic Bohachi clan, a group of relentless pimps. Their brutal world culminates in a final snowy showdown with Shiro taking on an army of killers.
