Armour of God II Operation Condor 4K Blu-ray Arrives June 23
88 Films releases a new 4K restoration of Jackie Chan's 1991 action sequel with dual cuts and extensive special features
Armour of God II: Operation Condor arrives on 4K Blu-ray from 88 Films on June 23, 2025. This release features a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, presenting the film in Dolby Vision HDR with two different cuts available: the Hong Kong Cut (107 minutes) and the Extended Cut (117 minutes).
Jackie Chan returns as the daring treasure hunter, known as the Asian Hawk, in this sequel that follows his mission to recover Nazi gold. Known as the most expensive Hong Kong film produced at the time, it showcases some of Chan's most intense stunts and culminates in a dynamic action climax.
The 4K Blu-ray/BD combo pack offers multiple audio tracks including Cantonese Mono theatrical audio, Cantonese 2.0 stereo home video mix, classic English mono dub, and a hybrid Cantonese/English track created exclusively for this edition. Newly remastered English subtitles are also included.
Special features include extensive audio commentaries by NY Asian Film Festival's Frank Djeng and filmmaker FJ DeSanto, as well as Arne Venema and Hong Kong film expert Mike Leeder. Interviews with actors Vincent Lyn, Ken Lo, and Bruce Fontaine add further insight alongside additional featurettes and archival footage.
This release is region-free on 4K Blu-ray while the standard Blu-ray is region B locked. The package includes a double-sided sleeve featuring new artwork by Sean Longmore and the original Hong Kong poster.
