The film is a confined, character-driven drama set at a mission in China circa 1935; it follows missionary Agatha Andrews and six other women as they confront an invading bandit force.
This Blu-ray presents a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative prepared for this release. Video is encoded as MPEG-4 AVC at 1080p with an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 (original 2.35:1). Audio is English DTS‑HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono and optional English SDH subtitles are included.
