PlotLaura, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires, returns to her small hometown outside Madrid, Spain, for her younger sister's wedding, bringing her teenage daughter Irene and young son Diego with her. The joyous reunion is charged with laughter and cheerful family banter as relatives and the tight-knit community come together for the festive occasion. The small town, enveloped in vineyards, is where Laura's family owns a vineyard estate and is also where Paco, Laura's former lover, lives and works as a vintner. The rekindling of past relationships and the effortless bond between old friends and family members is evident as everyone prepares for the upcoming nuptials.
During the wedding celebration, the event takes an unexpected and sinister turn when Irene is suddenly kidnapped. A ransom note sends the family into a state of panic and desperation. The incident reveals underlying tensions and secrets among family and friends, casting a shadow over what was supposed to be a joyous event. Suspicions arise, and relationships are tested as everyone begins to suspect one another. The search for the perpetrator reveals complex webs of emotion, history, and unspoken truths interlaced within the family and the wider community, unraveling a tapestry of intrigue and long-buried grievances.
