That's My Boy
Director: Sean Anders
Actors: Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester
PlotDonny Berger finds himself in a precarious situation when he owes tens of thousands in back taxes to the IRS. As a teenager, he fathered a son, Todd, with his teacher, which led to minor celebrity status and a hasty fortune squandered over the years. On the brink of being sent to prison, Donny hatches a plan to reconnect with his estranged son, now a successful and well-adjusted hedge fund manager, to potentially exploit him for money. Donny crashes Todd's upcoming weekend wedding, pretending to be a friend of the family, without disclosing their true relationship. The unexpected arrival and outrageous behavior of his long-lost father throw Todd's life into chaos.
As Todd grapples with the sudden presence of his embarrassing and crude father, Donny tries to reintegrate himself into his son's life, causing havoc at every turn. With pre-wedding festivities and the arrival of the bride's family, Donny's brash and unconventional methods clash with the high-society world Todd has become a part of. This unplanned reunion forces the pair to confront their complicated past, and as the big day approaches, the father-and-son duo must navigate a minefield of past grievances and misunderstandings, while Donny unwittingly wreaks havoc on the meticulously planned event.
