Fighting with My Family
Director: Stephen Merchant
Actors: Dwayne Johnson, Lena Headey, Vince Vaughn
PlotIn a small town in England, a quirky wrestling-obsessed family runs their own gym and wrestles in local venues. Siblings Saraya and Zak share a deep passion for professional wrestling, dreaming of making it to the WWE. When a talent scout holds tryouts, both siblings seize the opportunity to showcase their skills. Eventually, only Saraya, who adopts the wrestling name Paige, is selected to move forward, while Zak faces the heartbreak of rejection. Despite her elation, Paige struggles with guilt over her brother's disappointment and is wary of leaving her supportive family behind.
Arriving in America, Paige faces intense training and fierce competition under the rigorous guidance of coach Hutch Morgan. As the only female recruit, she battles self-doubt and isolation in a male-dominated environment. Hutch's tough love approach pushes her to dig deeper within herself and prove she belongs. Paige is torn between her desire to succeed and the pressure to conform, all while maintaining her unique identity. Meanwhile, Zak grapples with his own feelings of failure, trying to find purpose back home. The struggles they face test their resilience and ultimately define their paths in the world of professional wrestling.
