Batman Forever
Director: Joel Schumacher
Actors: Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey
PlotGotham City finds itself in the clutches of chaos as two new villains emerge: Harvey Dent, once Gotham's district attorney now turned criminal maniac dubbed Two-Face due to a horrific disfiguring accident, and the Riddler, a green-suited, puzzle-obsessed genius with a vendetta against Bruce Wayne and the world. Two-Face is driven by revenge against Batman, who he blames for his transformation, and terrorizes the city with his dual-personality driven crimes. The Riddler, on the other hand, seeks to sap the minds of Gotham's citizens using his newly invented device, which also feeds his intellect and reach, slowly making him a formidable adversary.
Amid the turmoil, Batman faces a personal crisis, struggling with his dual identity and the pain of his past. His alter ego, Bruce Wayne, becomes entangled with Dr. Chase Meridian, a psychologist specializing in dual personalities who is fascinated by the vigilante and inadvertently gets closer to Wayne's secret. As the two villains join forces, plotting to uncover Batman’s identity and destroy him, a circus performance gone awry introduces Dick Grayson into Bruce's life, a young acrobat who witnesses his own family tragedy. Consumed by a desire for vengeance, Grayson seeks to find refuge and justice, putting him on a collision course with Bruce's own crusade and leading him to the potential of becoming an ally in the fight against the rising tide of corruption and madness in Gotham.
