PlotAn Amazonian princess named Diana lives on the idyllic island of Themyscira, a secluded paradise inhabited by warrior women created by the gods of Mount Olympus to protect mankind. After a pilot, Steve Trevor, crashes on the island and informs the Amazons about a world at war, Diana decides to leave her home, convinced she can stop the global conflict. She travels with Steve to the outside world and discovers her full powers and destiny as Wonder Woman, fighting alongside humans in World War I.
Years later, Diana has integrated herself into human society, maintaining her duties as a protector of peace under the guise of a museum curator. Her past catches up with her when several antagonists, both old and new, resurface, posing threats that draw upon her ancient heritage and challenge her role as a bridge between her Amazonian roots and the world of mankind. Her journey takes her into confrontations that test the limits of her abilities and convictions, forcing her to confront her own place in the world.
