In ancient China during the Han Dynasty, Huo An, a commander of the Silk Road Protection Squad, is framed for a crime he didn't commit and sent to a labor camp to rebuild a deteriorating city. As Huo An and his men work to restore the city, a Roman legion led by General Lucius comes seeking shelter. The two groups initially clash, but eventually form an uneasy alliance driven by mutual respect and common interests.

The alliance faces a formidable threat as Tiberius, a treacherous Roman leader, advances with a massive force to seize control of the Silk Road. Huo An and Lucius must unite their troops and strategies to protect the region from impending doom.
