PlotA young Boston janitor, Will, works at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Despite his humble job, he's a mathematical genius with a troubled past and runs into legal trouble. His intellectual prowess is discovered when he solves a complex math problem left by a professor for his graduate students. This professor, recognizing Will’s potential, bails him out of jail on the condition that he studies mathematics under his guidance and sees a therapist to address his emotional issues.
Will is initially hostile and dismissive towards therapy but eventually forms a bond with Sean, a therapist with his own personal struggles.
